Welcome to the Tar Heel State... My Name is Jay Brookover, and I live in Cary, NC, a suburb of the Capitol city of Raleigh, NC, in Wake county. This area is also referred to as The Research Triangle Park. My preferred hobby is Amateur Radio. Currently my main activities are DXing and HF Contest operating. I try to participate in most of the major ARRL, CQWW, and NCJ contests. I hold an Amateur Extra Class license, and have previously held the callsigns WN8BMV and WB8BMV. My XYL's name is Debbie, and she is WD8EBI. My first harmonic is Stephanie, who is KG4CXZ. And my second harmonic is Meredith, who is still thinking about getting licensed!
